Duron (morgan) modification....

In a recent post I asked what bridges to connect to overclock my Duron. I was told the 4 on L7. Well it looks like there are 5 which visually look connected already. can I gewt some clarification.

Your Morgan chip has five L7 bridges and a default voltage of 1.75v, so the middle bridge is open. The rest is already closed (connected). The bridge is laser cut in the middle, so it can be hard to...

I figured it out....It was easier to draw the line than I expected. I am bottlenecked by my ram, so the only thing it did for me was raise the voltage. i can't set the fsb any higher so it deemed...

The reason to raise the Vcore is to be able to overclock the core more. But there is no guarantee it will help. Some times your get a CPU that will not OC much with or without more Vcore. Other...

Your CPU core is limiting factor in this situation. You have a chip that will not OC more than about 9%. Changing the memory will not help, as long as it is the CPU core that will not go higher.About...
